Mark Martin is a driver who I feel has a chance to win races most of the time because, no matter where he starts a race he is going to become a factor at some point in a race. Just look at these facts Four victories, a like number of pole positions, 13 top-five finishes, fourth in the point standings and more than $1.8 million in winnings are numbers many drivers would consider a career. For Mark Martin and his Jack Roush-owned team,however, those numbers merely mean the job was not completed, because despite all those numbers the team didn't win the Winston Cup Championship. I will say that having been a Mark Martin follower for a long time that there seems to be no one that has the determination that carries Mark through any race..
