icon I will admit right here, right now that Auto Racing has control of my life and I can't complain that it's a problem. I love the people involved in this sport. If you haven't guessed by now, I am a big supporter of Ford Motorsports. I was for a long time(and still am) a big Davey Allison fan. I have went so far as to name my daughter Shelby (after the Cobra) Allison (in tribute to a fallen Hero of mine) Kocinski, and I also have to say thanks to my wife because she went along with this.

icon I have been following racing of all sorts for years, now, I mainly follow Nascar Winston Cup and Busch Series racing on a continual basis. My favorite drivers are Ernie Irvan, Mark Martin, , Dale Jarrett, Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.. As you can tell I really tend to stick with Ford drivers. Although, I have nothing but respect for Chevy drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Terry Labonte, and Sterling Marlin all of whom I admire and wish nothing but good luck, and the Pontiac drivers like Bobby Labonte, Ward Burton or Tony Stewart, they are all underdogs, and who doesn't root for the underdog. As to the Busch series I am not as strict about following it. I still cheer on Mark Martin though, if he's racing Busch cars that weekend. I have been to Michigan International Speedway for most of the races in the last 3 years. The only one I missed was the race in August of 94 in which Ernie Irvan was critically injured. I was fortunate this last year to be the guest, though a friend of mine, of the 31-W Insulation team, and was able to watch the racing from the pits at both races in August. If you have a copy of the Winston Cup telecast from that race you can see me on a pit stop of Mark Martin's early on in the race though his in-car camera. I have pictures of my last trip to MIS.
